Sundays are really important at Amyand Park Chapel, but the church is also busy throughout the week with clubs and meetings for people of all ages.  You might spot a lack of imagination in some of the club names but... it helps to know what day of the week it’s on!

Monday club is a children’s club that gets together every - you’ve guessed it – Monday. It used to be held at the Ivybridge Primary School on the Ivybridge Estate, but is now being held at the chapel.  The club meet from 6.30 to 7.45pm during school term time for organised games and activities and a short Christian talk with a chance to ask questions. There is a mini bus that picks up the children from 6.15 outside the Ivy Bridge Primary School.  If you’d like to come along to Monday club or want some more information then email us here.

Rendezvous is a meeting for ladies of any age held on Wednesday mornings in the rear church hall.  We meet for tea and coffee from 10am onwards and start our meeting about 10.30am for just over an hour.  Supervised crèche facilities are available.  We have a varied programme which includes talks from visiting speakers on aspects of the Christian faith.  There are also outings and informal get-togethers in various homes.  Send us an email to find out more.

We meet half-termly on a Wednesday morning at the home of our pastor and his wife for coffee, chat and a stimulating talk followed by a time of discussion. The talks are on a variety of issues, each exploring some aspect of the Christian faith. Women of all ages are welcome and we do have a crèche during the talk. It is a friendly and informal gathering. Contact Elizabeth Comboni to find out more.
Catering for little ones aged 0-5 years this group runs every Thursday morning during term-time from 9.45am-11.15am.  Activities include play dough, craft, story time and singing.  Refreshments are provided for both children and parents/carers.  This is one our most popular groups and currently has a waiting list - please email us for more information or to be added to the list.  A fee of £1 per family per week is charged.
If you have reached ‘retirement’ age then Luncheon Club could be right up your street. It takes place on the second Friday of each month: starting with tea/coffee and a chat from 12 onwards. A lovely home cooked meal is served around 12:30 and is followed by a short Christian talk.  If you want any more information then please send us an email.
Friday Kids runs on a Friday afternoon in the rear church hall for children aged between 5 and 7. It kicks off at 4.30 during term time and is a fun-packed hour which includes games, crafts, bible stories and singing! If you’d like to know more then send us an email and we'll get back to you.
Friday club is for children in school years 3 to 6 (Junior school age) and runs every Friday evening from 6.15 to 7.45pm during term time.  Friday Club is a mix of quizzes and competitions, games and crafts as well as a Bible-based talk and there is always an opportunity to ask questions over a biscuit! For more information, send us an email.
This is a club for young people in school years 7 and 9.  It runs on a Friday night at the Brunswick centre from 6.30 to 8:00pm during school term time. More information can be found by emailing us here.

Friday Nighters is for young people in years 10 to 12.  The club meets in term time on a Friday evening from 8- 9.30 pm.  The club is not based at the church but at the Brunswick Centre. Football, hockey, rounders, table tennis and snooker are all available or you can just sit down for a chat.  Once a term we go out for the evening - bowling, dry slope skiing or ice skating - and each spring we go away for a weekend. Every meeting finishes with a 15 minute talk / discussion. Get in touch for more details.

Directions to the Brunswick Centre:
Take Twining Avenue which is just off Sixth Cross Road.  Once on Twining Avenue take the first right.  It all looks like you are heading nowhere but the entrance to the Brunswick Centre car park is about 100 yards on the right between 2 houses.
